History
The ISKOV Family has been tracked back to 1708. According to the parish registers the family is originated from the southern part of Jutland, Denmark. Rumor has it that the ISKOV family immigrated from Russia, but this has not seriously been verified.
After the war against Germany at Dybbol Skanse in 1864 and the loss of the Southern part of Jutland four sons of the Iskov family moved to Australia. Two of the sons remained in Australia. One left for the US and the eldest son returned to Denmark. Some descendants emigrated to Sweden and Canada.
For reasons of privacy, the people who are still living have got their personal details stripped out..
Research
The research of the ISKOV Family has so far been done by Flemming ISKOV and his wife Kirsten VESTER, living in Denmark. We all need to thank them very much for their investigations.
There have also been done some invaluable research in Australia, especially Marg Lewis Iskov. She has done a complete documentation of the Iskov Family..
